Milo Molleson – Jurywinnaar

Deelnemer De Beeldmakers

#7

Milo never initially meant to share her work with others. Her images formed a visual diary during her addiction, with each piece revealing a different aspect of that process. Now that this period lies further behind her, she feels ready to share it. Even though not everyone struggles with addiction, her work speaks to universal human emotions like loss, longing, and struggle. Alongside her job as a bioinformatician at the Princess Máxima Centre, art has always been an essential part of her life. Using materials such as oil paint, watercolour, pencil, and charcoal, she hopes to offer others a sense of recognition.
